For the love of books

My experience with Lebooks has been way better than expected. The creators of Lebooks certainly love books as much as I do, and they also know their business.

Ease of use is been a priority, as is attention to detail and cost effectiveness. I got an instant confirmation and all the books were delivered at least a day earlier than promised.

I’m definitely going to using this site for ordering all the books I want, and am looking forward to using the upcoming features that were disclosed by the creators. For a person who spent her summers browsing through bookshelves, this site is a dream come true!

When I first heard about the site from Vikas(classmate @ IIML) before the launch,it looked like another mee-too offering where you already have amazon and crossword. On top of it most readers prefer going to the physical store for a touch and feel experience. I wondered how is he going to get business?
But you know readers like myself who are working and dont get much time on weekdays and the weekends are well spent sleeping in bed/movie or hanging out somewhere rarely get the time/enthu to go to a store and check out books. With 50 hrs a week on the desk I prefer doing it online. I have tried with the existing online bookstores but they are plagued by ads, too many options, too many offers, and you tend to get lost. So most of the time I ended up closing the browser window just after entering my search string.
Lebooks on the other hand was a refresing break from that. The layout looks good plus all you see in the site is books books and books – no distractions perfect. The site has all the the things you would like to have before buying a book – a preview, a sneak peek and a discount.
But the best part was the delivery time. I was amazed when I got a call from the overnite courier guy who called me up 30hrs from my ordering time that my book has been delivered at my home. Nice time to procure the book and get it couriered from Delhi to Mumbai.

I had to wait a bit till the books were available, but now that I got the books I have to admit that the wait was worth it. The one great thing was I was kept in loop throughout the buying process, noone of my emails went unanswered- great service and trust building that. Secondly, I see that the books have been packed very well, with a bookmark for each book- these details make the process delightful! Thanks a ton, and well done

It’s very refreshing to find a business that care more about their customers than about making money. I’ve ordered books with LeBooks several times and each time it has been a great experience. I’ve got emails letting me know about every detail – when I can expect the book, whether there’s a delay since the book is out of print, or if the latest version isn’t available etc. Every email is responded to quickly with a courteous reply which is much appreciated. And yes – I love the stylish bookmarks. I am hooked!

Never before have I gotten something delivered to me within just 1 day of placing the order. Amazing service, great attention to customers . every query is responded to very quickly by the Lebooks team. And i love the regular updates regarding the status of the order.

To say that am thrilled or elated is an understatement. I had to dig deep into my thin arsenal of adjectives and alas, I could find none to fit the service of Lebooks. When I booked my shipment, I was a little apprehensive. Will they be properly packed? What will be the shape when they reach me? How am I going to track? How long will it be…by the time I reached my last statement, the books are here! They arrived earlier than any one can expect!

And how they are! Boy, they seriously know how to take care of books. I just fell in love with the way they cared for my books. And how beautiful are the bookmarks…

Lebooks…I already have made my resolution for the coming year (and the years thereafter)….LeBooks is going to be the only place where I will buy books…because they value my books like theirs…

It was love at first site, oops, sight when I chanced upon LeBooks! The ‘olde worlde’ look is charming and very atmospheric; like something out of a Harry Potter story!
I’d drafted a testimonial when I received my second order. Didn’t get around to mailing it but here’s a gist of what I’d wanted to say…..
Was absolutely delighted with the Enid Blyton “Adventure Series”! I was especially happy to obtain the books as a complete set. I’d searched high and low for this collection and couldn’t believe my luck when I chanced upon them the very first time I hit your site! And being a fusspot where my books are concerned (they should look brand-new like they’d just come off the press!), I was totally floored when they arrived! The packing was superb and try as I might, I couldn’t find a single fold, tear or damage to any of the copies! And the Macmillan international editions looked very good too! Many thanks also for the unusual bookmarks!

I was searching for a relatively unknown book. I could not find it at the likes of Landmark and Crossword. A few sites which did show availability charged double the price. And then I remembered Vikas’ initiative. I got the book at a discount, shipped promptly within 2 days, as promised with constant updates about the status of my order.
